“Opportunities in Cross-Border Investment & Business Relations”
The Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce, the Miami Finance
Forum and the Florida business community are pleased to present the fourth
annual CEO Forum.

“For the Love of the Children”
Dinner Event
Join us as we hear “For the Love of the Children” and Terre Thomas’ efforts of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Terre Thomas was born in Chicago, where the vow of her father, Danny Thomas, took shape. He vowed to build a shrine to St. Jude, if the Saint would help him find his way in life. That “Shrine” stands today in Memphis, Tennessee, as the world’s leading pediatric cancer research center…the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Terre became a spokesperson for the Hospital in the late 70’s, traveling across the nation on behalf of St. Jude. The role as spokesperson came quite naturally to her since she grew up learning about St. Jude at her father’s knee. Since 1980, Terre has been a member of the National Board of Governors and Directors of the Hospital. As there is no charge to the families at St. Jude, she is heavily involved in fund-raising activities for the Hospital. One of Terre’s pet projects is the Nationwide Radiothons called, “Country Cares For St. Jude Kids,” which raises millions of dollars a year. Among her fund-raising projects, Terre is the Co-Chair of the Los Angeles Chapter for St. Jude, and of the Celebrity Fund-Raiser, “Runway For Life”. She is an honorary sister of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, a non-academic sorority service group of women, and a full member of the Tri-Delta Sorority, all of which raise millions of dollars each year on behalf of the children and families of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Invite your friends and colleagues to join us for this great presentation. Reply YES to this email if you wish to attend and include the names of all participants. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call at 626-974-5429.
